Mass Production (Wood Technology) / Material Processing Metals

This class is designed to accommodate the 9th or 10th grade student who needs an entry level course to get into the technology initiative program. The curriculum for this class covers the skills and mechanical abilities needed in the lumber construction industry. The class is designed to introduce the student to technical skills such as design, problem-solving, as well as mechanical and construction methods used in the advanced courses

The curriculum for this course covers mechanical skills or abilities, technical design, problem-solving techniques, and construction methods which relate to metal technology. The class will also investigate mass production practices and career related areas.
