Advanced Desktop Publishing-Yearbook I
Students use and develop writing and computer skills to create yearbook copy, design a layout and print the product, take and enhance digital pictures, and proofread and produce a finished product on a schedule and within budget. Students will sell advertising and participate in moneymaking projects to help finance the yearbook. Graphic Producion Technology is the recommended prerequisite.
PREREQUISITE:
Computer Applications I & II (In addition to instructor approval).
GRADE: 10-12

Advanced Desktop Publishing-Yearbook II
Students use and develop writing and computer skills to create yearbook copy, design a layout and print the product, take and enhance digital pictures, and proofread and produce a finished product on a schedule and within budget. Students will sell advertising and participate in moneymaking projects to help finance the yearbook. In addition, returning staff members assume a leadership role on the staff and are in charge of organizing the actual production of the yearbook and its activities. This includes setting up fundraising opportunities and advertisement sales, production schedules, yearbook content, and section styles.
PREREQUISITE:
Advanced Desktop Publishing-Yearbook I (In addition to instructor approval).
GRADE: 11-12
