Algebra 1A
Algebra IA is the first of two classes that along with Algebra IB form the Algebra I Interactions course. This is an Algebra I course that is taught over a two-year span.
The focus of Algebra IA is exploring and building a foundation of the math concepts that prepare students for both Algebra and Geometry. This includes in-depth investigations of integers, data patterns, and linear equations.
During the second year of the program the Algebra IB course takes students into the more formal development of Algebra. During this course students will deal with non-linear equations, systems of equations and coordinate geometry as some of the major topics.GRADE: 9-10
