College Speech

Students can earn both high school and college credit at the same time by paying the college tuition (approximately $213) to Highland Community College. The purpose of this class is to increase understanding of the principles and applications of public speaking through analysis and practice in the areas of communication theory, topic selection, audience analysis, research, use of support materials, content organization, presentation, and evaluation of a variety of speeches.
