Desktop Publishing

Students will design and publish finished documents in a business setting. Students will demonstrate knowledge of desktop publishing basics; knowledge of desktop publishing systems; application of software in desktop publishing for page setup, graphic formats (paint, draw, object-oriented), editing, and layout and production of flyers, newsletters, and resumes; applications of type selection and use of fonts; and application, analysis, and evaluation of document design.

PREREQUISITE: Computer Applications I & II
GRADE: Open to 10
